CCHCS seeks to fill a Limited-term CalAIM Pharmacy Technician position in the Medical Services - Central Fill Pharmacy, located at Rovana Circle, Sacramento, CA 95828.

Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist II, the Pharmacy Technician performs basic services in a pharmacy and technical duties which do not require licensure, assisting in preparing prescriptions and maintaining records and inventories in accordance with policies and laws.

Personal Leave Program 2025

Effective July 1, 2025 in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 20, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.

CCHCS Pharmacy Technician Position

CCHCS seeks to fill a Limited-term CalAIM Pharmacy Technician position in the Medical Services - Central Fill Pharmacy.

Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist II, the Pharmacy Technician performs basic services in a pharmacy and technical duties which do not require licensure. The Pharmacy Technician assists in maintaining pharmacy operations and assists the pharmacists in preparing prescriptions and maintains records and inventories of drugs, poisons, and narcotics in accordance with Department policies and federal and State laws and regulations.

Candidates new to CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting.

Desirable Qualifications
