Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manage time and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Know all recipes and procedures for production of cakes and pastries.
• Keep cake displays attractive for customers.
• Prepare creams and sauces for cakes and pastries.
• Receive, stock and store ingredients properly.
• Inform supervisor of equipment issues and monitor supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for scaling, decorating and producing of allDesserts, Pastries and Cakes
• General knowledge of production methods and organization ofConfectionary production
• Learn new products and skills and has ability to demonstrateproper techniques to new cakers
• Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness ofwork station
• Must be able to manage time and skills with strongorganization
• Knowledge of all recipes and procedures of all production
• Ensure cake display is presentable for internal and externalcustomers
• Make creams and sauces for cakes and pastries
• Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers andstorage areas in an organized manner
• Inform supervisor when equipment is not working properly andmanage when food supplies are getting low
• Perform other related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization, qualityprogram
• Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology,and food sanitary safety practice/procedure
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  
• Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge(include FDA)
• Food Handler’s Certificate, preferred
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a teamenvironment
• Ability to multi-task
• Multiple priority management abilities
