Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare products for sale (icing, decorating, packaging, labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality, and freshness.
• Perform bakery clerk functions when requested.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all work areas.
• Clean work area, decorating tools, and supplies properly.
• Organize and rotate products in the freezer and prep areas.
• Communicate guest requests and temperature issues to management.
• Keep the work area neat and organized.
• Rotate icings and use the cake manual as a reference.
• Write on cakes and mix colors according to standards.
• Master the use of the airbrush.
• Use cake production sheets and achieve sales and profit goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Assist with guest arrival standards and announce specials over the PA system.
• Help in product receiving and storage.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
