Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, packaging and labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• When requested perform bakery clerk functions.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Properly cleans work area, couplers and decorating bags.
• Maintain organization of the freezer with proper rotation of product.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keeps supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Rotate icings and read dates on icings.
• Use cake production sheet and cake manual as reference.
• Write on cakes and mix colors per color chart.
• Master the use of the airbrush.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the cake section.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Assist in Front Porch duties to ensure guest arrival standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
