Carlie C’s IGA in North Carolina is seeking a cake decorator who combines a friendly, helpful attitude with a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious cakes. This role emphasizes prompt customer service and teamwork as you craft every cake sold in our store.

You will bake and decorate cakes, operate ovens and equipment, maintain clean, refrigerated work areas, and follow uniform standards while serving the public.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age, friendly and outgoing.
• Must enjoy working with the public.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, 30lbs.
• Experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Bake and Decorate Cakes.
• Use scales and printer, understand tare weight.
• Use and sharpen meat/cheese slicer.
• Use chicken fryer, monitor grease.
• Make meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
• Understand portion control
• Monitor food temperature requirements.
• Operate oven, proof box.
• Keep sales area full, and rotated.
• Clean and sanitized area.
• Work in refrigerated areas.
• Maintain Carlie C’s Uniform Standards
• Any and all other daily operational duties as directed by Deli/Bakery Manager.
