Job summary

Cake Decorator position at Wayne, PA bakery seeks a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join the team. Temp-to-hire with starting pay of $14–$15/hour, flexible daytime and weekend shifts.

You will decorate Bundt cakes using signature techniques, ensure quality, maintain displays, follow food safety, and support the team to meet orders on time. Previous decorating experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Cake decorating experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency.
• Comfortable working with food and following food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Flexible availability for daytime and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Apply frosting to Bundt cakes using the bakery's signature decorating technique.
• Create consistent, attractive frosting designs on each cake.
• Inspect cakes for quality and ensure finished products meet bakery standards.
• Maintain appropriate cake inventory and ensure displays are properly stocked.
• Keep the decorating station, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized.
• Monitor and record refrigeration temperatures as required.
• Maintain adequate supplies and communicate inventory needs.
• Work closely with the bakery team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
