Ideal candidates have some experience in cake decoration or pastry arts, strong math and computer basics, and are able to lift and stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly cake decorating or pastry arts is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques related to baking and cake decoration.
• Be physically capable of lifting 30 to 50 pounds and performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and provide design recommendations.
• Prepare and bake cakes, ensuring high-quality taste and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of decorating area.
• Package finished cakes for pick up or display with attractive presentation.
• Assist with inventory management of baking supplies and ingredients.
