Meijer in Carmel, IN is seeking a Cake Decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for various occasions. You will also manage the cake case and assist customers.

You will work with the bakery team to ensure quality, freshness, and merchandising standards, with opportunities to work in deli and bakery areas. The role emphasizes precision, creativity, and customer service in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and decorating cakes for multiple occasions.
• Filling and conditioning the cake case throughout the shift.
• Managing cake out-dates daily.
• Receiving and processing cake orders.
• Managing cake and icing inventory.
• Managing cake decorating station including preparing icing and sanitation procedures.
• Maintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stocking and maintenance of product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas.
