Meijer, Inc. is seeking a Bakery/Cake Decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for various occasions and to maintain cake cases throughout shifts.

This role involves decorating, order processing, inventory management, and upholding sanitation practices while delivering friendly customer service. The position may involve working in deli and bakery areas, with opportunities for growth through Meijer's development programs and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and decorating cakes for multiple occasions.
• Fill and condition the cake case throughout the shift.
• Manage cake out-dates daily.
• Receive and process cake orders.
• Manage cake and icing inventory.
• Manage cake decorating station including preparing icings and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stock and maintain product displays according to quality standards.
• Potential for working in deli and bakery areas.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
