Job summary

Target in Minnesota’s Rochester store is seeking a Cake Decorator to create and decorate cakes, greet guests and help with customized orders. You’ll ensure accurate labeling, assist with inventory, and maintain safety standards while delivering an inviting guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts. Relevant training is provided and prior decorating experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous cake decorating experience preferred, but not required.
• Artistic skills to design and execute customized desserts.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
