Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Complete required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if selected.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborate with cross functional teams and educate others on tools, tasks and resources; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for customer service; stay flexible to business needs; maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: plan bakery productions, ensure quality and accuracy of designs; follow recipes and measurements; work with decorating tools to create flowers and lettering; follow food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory standards; operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: use handheld devices to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and engage associates; respond to production, merchandising, and quality needs.
• Be an Owner: ensure bakery area quality and date control; reduce waste; prepare for seasonal events affecting bakery volume; identify member needs and assist with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: act as a brand ambassador, model high-quality service, and mentor others for a respectful, collaborative environment.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and ethics by applying the Open Door Policy in business processes.
