Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to assist the Bakery Manager.
• Able to stand, bend, twist, reach, push/pull and lift 25 lbs, up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Work with fresh, dried and/or processed products with spices.
• Tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine duties.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Follow assigned schedules and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Maintain sanitation and QA standards.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, utensils and equipment.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Operate and maintain department equipment as required.
• Prepare items and assist in bakery production as directed.
