Paris Baguette in Moorestown Township, NJ is seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly and decoration of delicious cakes and pastries, demonstrating techniques to new staff, and maintaining a clean workspace. Early morning shifts starting as early as 2am are required. Ideal applicants will have previous experience in confectionary food service, a Food Handler’s Certificate, and a strong understanding of food safety and quality control. THE JOB DETAILS

Our Cake Decorators are responsible for assembling and decorating our gorgeous cakes, pastries, and desserts.

Dessert Excellence

Produce & decorate desserts, pastries, and cakes

Make creams, sauces, and fillings for cakes and pastries

Training & Support

Demonstrate proper techniques to new cakers & support staff

Complete various reports such as production, usage, and waste

Workspace Environment

Receive, stock, & store food in designated storage areas

Clean, organize & maintain your workspace

Support team members, where needed

NOTE: This role typically requires early morning availability (shifts range from 2am/3am - 7am start times)

WHAT YOU NEED

Previous experience in confectionary food service, cafes, and/or bakeries

Food Handler’s Certificate, preferred

Food safety and labeling knowledge

Knowledge of food production process, sanitation, and quality control processes

Weekday, weekend, and/or holiday availability

Ability to prioritize and follow directions

Integrity, efficiency, and dependability

Ability to lift 25 lbs
