Job summary

Rise Baking Company, LLC in Idaho Falls seeks a Cake Decorator & Traveling Trainer to provide hands-on cake decorating and baking training across customer accounts, while supporting marketing, merchandising and sales strategies.

You will train in-store bakery associates, help launch product lines, and collaborate with sales to present new ideas. Must be able to travel with customers and work all shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of cake decorating and baking experience; grocery store bakery experience preferred.
• Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to take and submit photos in various formats.
• Ability to work in a bakery environment (kitchen) and operate baking and decorating equipment and other machinery.
• Ability to work all shifts required by the customer (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
• Self-starter with superior organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Highly motivated and goal oriented with the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to in-store bakery associates on cake decorating and baking techniques and procedures for various products.
• Help develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for company product portfolio.
• Help sales group inform customers of new types, specifications, and end uses of products.
• Help develop and present new ideas and programs to assigned customer accounts.
• Assist sales group with customer presentations and product launches.
• Provide technical assistance to sales group with sales presentations and follow-up with customers.
