Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a cake decorator to prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions and to fill and maintain the cake case throughout the shift.

You will manage cake out-dates, receive orders, and ensure inventory and station sanitation, while delivering friendly service to customers. There is potential to work in deli and bakery areas; teamwork and safety standards are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Managing cake out-dates daily.
• Receiving and processing cake orders.
• Managing cake and icing inventory.
• Managing cake decorating station to include preparing icing's and following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.
• Stocking and maintenance of product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas.
