Hook & Reel in Oklahoma City is seeking a friendly Server to create a welcoming dining experience in a fast-paced Cajun seafood setting. You will greet guests, explain the menu, and ensure accurate orders while collaborating with kitchen staff. Candidates should have 1+ year of restaurant experience, valid Food Handlers and Alcohol Handlers certifications, and solid POS skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant experience.
• Hold valid State-Mandated Food Handlers Certification.
• Hold valid State-Mandated Alcohol Handlers Certification.
• Point-of-Sale (POS) systems experience.
• Strong communication and a passion for delivering world-class service.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Answer guest questions regarding the menu and Hook & Reel brand.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Listen attentively to guests to ensure correct orders.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Clean and organize the front-of-house server station.
• Observe and monitor table turnover by taking note of occupied, dirty or clean tables.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing quality service and checking in regularly throughout the dining experience.
• Inform management of special requests or guest concerns.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with the kitchen staff and management regarding allergy orders.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and hospitality-focused attitude at all times.
• Multi-task and balance between bar and dining room orders.
• Be a team player, assisting other team members whenever needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
