Job summary

Popeyes in Texas is seeking a Cook – Team Member to deliver hot, fresh, Cajun-inspired meals in a clean, fast-paced kitchen. You will follow Popeyes standards, assist with prep, and help maintain safety and efficiency during peak periods.

The role requires 6 months in QSR, open hours including evenings and weekends, and a positive attitude toward teamwork. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement exist within the Popeyes family.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, weekends.
• Familiarity with POS system; ServSafe certification preferred.
• Strong team leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand physical demands of a restaurant environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to Popeyes standards following recipes and portion controls.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitary workstations.
• Support kitchen flow and service during peak periods to ensure quality and speed.
