Fervo Energy in Houston, TX seeks a Manager, Market & Asset Operations to lead the day-ahead CAISO interface and optimize the financial performance of geothermal assets from bid execution through to real-time handoff. You will serve as the primary contact for the Scheduling Coordinator relationship and collaborate with plant operations and interconnection teams to reflect plant conditions in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required.
• 7+ years in CAISO or ISO market operations.
• Advanced knowledge of power market operations and rules.
• Experience managing external operator relationships and coordinating across functions.
• Strong communication and data-driven problem solving.
• Masters degree or MBA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own CAISO forward market interface and bid execution for assets.
• Manage asset optimization, outages, and CAISO readiness.
• Maintain knowledge of CAISO rules and compliance obligations.
• Propose term revisions to optimize revenue during PPA amendments.
• Own Scheduling Coordinator relationship end-to-end and issue resolution.
• Coordinate across Plant Operations, off-takers, and partners for accurate participation.
• Handoff from day-ahead awards to real-time execution reliably.
• Own revenue realization, market analysis and settlement validation.
• Lead process controls and coach associates; drive continuous improvement.
