Job summary

Charles River is seeking a Central Services Technician III for our client site in Cambridge, MA. The role oversees cage wash sanitation, supply handling, and adherence to GLP/GMP-related SOPs to ensure animal facility health and welfare.

Responsibilities include leading technicians, maintaining records, and ensuring equipment functionality. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a laboratory animal facility, High School Diploma or GED, and preferably AALAS ALAT certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two+ years in a laboratory animal facility performing cage wash duties and staff scheduling.
• Leadership and/or team oversight experience preferred.
• AALAS ALAT certification or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, monitor and train Central Services Technicians Levels 1 and 2.
• Maintain records for cagewash runs and maintenance schedules.
• Perform cage and equipment sanitation and associated duties.
• Sanitize cage wash rooms and related areas.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and quality assurance standards.
