Essential Reporting duties require timely execution, adherence to safety protocols, and coordination with supervisors to meet cage-change schedules and equipment maintenance needs.

Qualifikationen

• Must pass pre-employment medical clearance and participate in required health programs.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds and work in a lab environment.
• Ability to perform duties under environmental conditions such as heat, humidity, and exposure to animals.
• Six months of appropriate experience or training.

Aufgaben

• Clean soiled animal caging and equipment and prepare sanitized cages for reuse.
• Operate cage wash equipment and related tools (rack/tunnel washer, autoclave, pH meter).
• Maintain clean/soiled equipment areas and ensure proper documentation of sanitation steps.
• Follow SOPs and wear required PPE; prioritize workload with cage-change schedules.
• Assist in minor repairs and report equipment issues to supervision.
