You will oversee and support animal research and technical operations, ensuring equipment is prepared and sanitized for the care of research animals. Our Ideal Candidate:

• High School Diploma/GED with 6 months of experience in research cage wash, animal care, production/maintenance, or animal husbandry.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Skilled in making quick, accurate decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Adaptable, effective communicator, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance and minor repairs on cage wash equipment and related facilities, notifying supervisors of malfunctions.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, including cleaning, disinfecting, and biohazard waste disposal.
• Complete all required logbooks, checklists, and records.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals, supplies, and equipment used in operations.
