MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Cage Supervisor to lead the cage team, ensure accurate and compliant financial transactions, and deliver exceptional guest service. You will support MGM Rewards and manage daily shift tasks under internal control standards.

The role emphasizes local gaming regulations, staff development, and collaborative scheduling to maintain adequate coverage while upholding a positive work environment for diverse guests and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in cash handling or customer service required.
• Prior experience as a cage cashier.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cage operations by monitoring quality standards, delegating tasks, running shift reports, verifying and approving transactions in accordance with internal control standards
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service, resolve guest complaints, supervise and support MGM Rewards programs and member requests professionally
• Balance banks at end of shift and ensure reports comply with Title 31 regulations
• Issue FREEPLAY and adjust tier credits per policies
• Coordinate work schedules and maintain attendance with the Cage Manager
• Promote a positive, inclusive work environment aligned with company diversity commitments

THE JOB

As a Cage Supervisor, you play a key role in ensuring smooth cage operations by guiding your team through accurate, efficient, and compliant financial transactions. In addition to supporting a high level of guest service, you are responsible for ensuring alignment with company policies and with Federal, State, and local gaming regulations. Your leadership helps create a secure, seamless experience for both guests and team members, delivering the kind of service that leaves a lasting impression.

THE STARTING RATE: $27.00

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Oversee daily cage operations by monitoring quality standards, delegating tasks, running shift reports, verifying and approving transactions in accordance with internal control standards
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service, resolve guest complaints, supervise and support programs such as MGM Rewards, MyVegas, and the MGM Rewards Mastercard and assist with MGM Rewards member requests and disputes professionally and promptly
• Assist the Casino Cage Manager in balancing the banks at the end of each shift according to departmental variance policies and ensure that all reports and forms comply with Title 31 regulations
• Issue FREEPLAY, complimentary play coupons, and adjust tier credits for guests as requested, in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with workforce management and the Casino Cage Manager to coordinate work schedules, handle vacation requests, and maintain attendance records to ensure adequate staffing levels
• Promote a positive, inclusive work environment that values guest service, and ensure training and succession planning align with the company's commitment to diversity
