Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience.
• Must work well as part of a team and follow detailed instruction.
• Must work under odors, heat, humidity; able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must not be overly allergic to animals.
• Basic familiarity with computers and basic web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Processes animal cage components and equipment through washers; ensure proper sanitation.
• Process waste bedding material and use PPE when handling waste.
• Operate cage wash units according to SOPs and report deficiencies.
• Stage components with bedding and enrichment; report deficits to Supervisor.
• Operate steam autoclaves; record results and report failures.
