Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA is seeking an Assistant Cage Manager to support the Cage Manager in leadership, administration, and daily operations. You will supervise Cage Supervisors and staff, ensuring accurate cash handling, customer service, and regulatory compliance.

This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and policy adherence, with responsibilities across staffing, training, and interdepartmental coordination, including working with Surveillance, Finance, and Marketing to support

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years casino/cage or comparable financial-services experience with supervisory/management responsibility.
• Casino Cage supervisor experience strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma required; additional education in business/finance/accounting/management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Cage operations, staffing, scheduling, and planning.
• Lead Cage Supervisors and staff to meet standards and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments and manage escalations.
• Provide training and development for Cage staff.
• Monitor cash handling, asset protection, and discrepancies.
• Schedule and participate in departmental meetings.
• Cover Cage positions during shortages or high demand.
