Yaamava Resort & Casino at San Manuel is seeking a Senior Cage Cashier to lead training for Cage Operations and support the development of frontline cashiers. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective teamwork across departments.

You will evaluate trainee progress, maintain documentation, and contribute to policy adherence related to tax withholding and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with emphasis on basic accounting or business concepts.
• Two years of experience in high-volume cage operations or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to train and assess new hires and frontline cashiers.
• Familiarity with IRS/state tax withholding and reporting basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train frontline Cashiers on all Cage windows and evaluate progress of trainees.
• Ensure compliance with Gaming Commission regulations and BSA/Patriot Act requirements.
• Inspect money and monetary instruments for counterfeit items and fraud indicators.
• Assist with window counts, audits, and cash drawer verifications for inventory control.
• Develop instructional materials and lead orientation for Cage Operations staff.
