Job summary

Rain Rock Casino is seeking a Cage Supervisor/Lead Cashier to safeguard assets and oversee daily cage operations. The role includes supervising cashiers, balancing cash drawers, and coordinating with table games, restaurants, and hotel staff.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months money-handling experience, strong English communication, and a Tribal Gaming License or ability to obtain one. This is a full-time, on-site position in California.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• 3 months casino Cage Cashier experience required.
• 6–12 months money-handling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard assets and balance cash drawers and kiosks.

• Safeguard Rain Rock Casino assets and balances Main Bank Accountability.
• Perform all soft count buys.
• Fill and balance kiosks.
• Determine amount of and makes daily deposits.
• Monitor and assist Cage Cashiers as needed.
• Process jackpots for the Slot Department Leads and Attendants.
• Supply chips to Table Games by processing orders for fill.
• Issue restaurant banks to F & B and cash wallets to Slot Attendants.
• Replenish currency for Cashiers by processing exchanges.
• Count and record blind drop figures for retail outlets, F & B and Hotel.
• Responsible for entire Cage operations in the absence of the Supervisor.
• Maintain professional communication between the Cage and other departments.
• Maintain Title 31 recordkeeping requirements.
• Provide information and explain Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Shall be polite and maintain a priority system in accepting other position related job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Must have minimum of three (3) months experience in a casino Cage Cashier.
• Must have six (6) to twelve (12) months money-handling experience (required).
• Successfully complete required training for advancement.
• Must have computer experience.
• Good public relations skills; professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable by the RRC’s insurance carrier.
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required.
• Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position.
