The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Part-Time Cage Cashier to join our team at Orange City Racing in Orange City, Florida. As a cage cashier, you will handle large amounts of currency, redeem player vouchers, and process chip purchases for guests. $14.00 - $14.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Handle large sums of money, process Cash Advance transactions
• Maintain an accurate count of banks assigned to you
• Perform regular cash exchanges with Main Bankers
• Issue and redeem chips: process chip fills and tray refills
• Follow all Company and State policies and procedures
• Give Excellent Customer Service

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Preferred: Six (6) months of cash-handling experience, including managing large amounts of money
• Excellent math skills, including addition and subtraction
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be able to obtain a pari-mutuel license (full life background check) for the State of Florida
• A fee is required for applicants applying for a pari-mutuel license
• No high school diploma or GED is necessary
• Open availability is a must

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per shift
• No restrictions on bending or lifting
