What will you do?

• Handle large sums of money including validating tickets for guests, distributing cash to team members for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers' checks, approving and cashing checks, and cash advance services
• Maintain an accurate count of banks
• Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor
• Issue and redeem chips; process chip fills and credits
• Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures
  
  

More About You

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum of six months’ cash handling experience preferred: experience handling large amounts of money
• Excellent math skills, including addition and subtraction
• pari-mutuel license for the State of Florida
• A fee is required if the applicant applies for a Pari-Mutuel license
• No high school diploma or GED required
• Open availability
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per shift
• No restrictions on bending or lifting
