Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort is seeking a Cashier Cage Representative to perform cashier and guest reward functions with integrity and efficiency. The role involves handling cage window and chip bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Nevada Gaming Regulations and GSR policies, and delivering courteous service to guests, vendors, and team members.

You will balance cash and chips, enter transactions into the system, and maintain internal controls while supporting other departments.

Qualifications

1 year of cash handling experience required.
6 months of casino cage cashier experience preferred.
Must maintain appropriate Gaming License.

Responsibilities

Control and account for cage window and chip bank transactions.
Follow Nevada Gaming Regulations and GSR policies.
Deliver courteous, professional guest service.
Balance and issue bank to floor attendants, food & beverage, and hotel team members.
Enter guest transactions into the company computer system.
Prepare paperwork, balance sheets, and documents per internal controls.
Transfer cash, chips, and checks between cage and departments.
Adhere to department policies to maintain integrity of the cage operation.
Comply with Federal 31 Procedures.
Demonstrate commitment to responsible gaming and notify managers of concerns.
Display professional conduct and high integrity.
Any other duties as assigned.
