Job summary

Arizona Charlie's, LLC is seeking a Cage Cashier to support daily cage operations in a fast-paced casino environment. You will process transactions, handle cash, markers, chip redemptions, and voucher redemptions while maintaining accountability and security of assigned funds.

You will operate cage computer systems, reconcile balances, and report discrepancies promptly, all in compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a high-volume cash handling environment, preferably in a casino or financial setting.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service.
• Accurately perform guest and departmental financial transactions, including check cashing, markers, chip redemption, coin/currency exchange, and voucher redemptions.
• Issue and receive funds related to casino operations, including table games, slots, and other internal departments.
• Maintain accountability for assigned funds, reconcile balances, and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Operate computer systems, coin/currency counters, and cage equipment in accordance with standard procedures.
• Complete required forms and documentation accurately and in compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and secure workstation at all times.
• Support overall team success through effective communication and collaboration with coworkers and leadership.
• Provide frontline support for select player club services and basic promotional inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, procedures, and property offerings to accurately support guests and staff.
• Held to a high standard of accountability for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of guest information, as well as departmental records and reports, in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
