Job summary

Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire is seeking a Cage Cashier (full-time or part-time) to join our team. You will handle large sums of currency, cash checks, redeem tickets, vouchers, and chips for guests in a fast-paced environment.

Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings. Weekly pay and benefits are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Six months’ cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Handle large sums of money including validating tickets for guests, distributing cash to team members for jackpots and hand-pays, processing and verifying travelers’ checks, approving and cashing checks, and cash advance services.
• Maintain an accurate count of banks.
• Perform regular cash buys to Cage Supervisor.
• Issue and redeem chips; process chip fills and credits.
• Follow all departmental and state policies and procedures.

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time or part-time Cage Cashier to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. As Cage Cashier, you will handle a large amount of currency, cash checks, and redeem tickets, vouchers, and chips for guests.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$18.00 – $18.00 / hour

More about you

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Six months’ cash handling experience preferred; experience handling large amounts of money
• Excellent math skills including addition and subtraction
• Basic computer skills
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds
• Exposure to secondhand smoke
