POSITION PURPOSE:

Sells change and buys coin from the guests at their assigned windows. Operates currency counting, coin handling and fill equipment inside the cage. Cash out chips, checks, handle markers, traveler’s checks, foreign currency, front money and safekeeping transactions. Ensures that their area is always neat and tidy and the guests attended to politely and efficiently. Perform their duties in accordance with the established policies and procedures in the pursuit of the company goals and philosophy. Needs basic knowledge of “BSA/Title 31” and all forms needed to complete these transactions. Safeguard all company assets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Controls and is responsible for a window with an impress bankroll.
  • Responsible for the accurate completion of all window transactions.
  • Verifies by count the redemption of monies by the guests in full view of the guests.
  • Makes out buy/transfer forms to replenish the cash/coin supply in accordance with company procedures and state regulations.
  • Disburse jackpots/fills when relevant procedures have been completed.
  • Maintains a friendly, helpful and polite attitude towards the guests.
  • Supports and maintains Four Queens courtesy guidelines.
  • Promote outstanding guest relations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL and ABILITY:

  • Ability to work well with large cash amounts.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations.
  • Outgoing personality who enjoys dealing with people.


OTHER:

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Four Queens from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team Members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Upon employment, all Team Members are required to fully comply with Four Queens policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of company facilities. Team Members who violate company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
