A leading casino seeks a Cashier for its Cage Department. The role involves managing cash transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering excellent customer service. Candidates must have strong communication skills and attention to detail, with a high school diploma required.

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all cash-handling procedures within the Cage Department. Ensures all transactions are conducted accurately and efficiently, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and gaming rules, as well as established company policies, procedures, and Internal Controls.
WORK LOCATION ASSIGNMENTS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties represent the primary responsibilities of this role. Additional tasks may be assigned by management as necessary. All duties must comply with Tribal, Federal, and organizational policies, Internal Controls, and regulations.
An applicant’s education, training, and experience must demonstrate the ability to successfully perform all essential duties and responsibilities. FireKeepers reserves the right to assess a candidate’s qualifications, including education, training, and competencies, through interviews, testing, and other methods.
Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.
Additional qualifications include some cash-handling experience, proficiency in computer skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Must thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment requiring focus and attention to detail, demonstrate the ability to resolve problems diplomatically and tactfully, and possess effective communication skills. A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants must be highly numbers-oriented, computer-literate, and at least 18 years of age.
GENERAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least six months of cage experience in a casino environment. College coursework in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance guidelines, and procedure manuals. They must also be capable of writing routine reports and correspondence, as well as speaking effectively before groups of customers or employees within the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals in all units of measure.
REASONING ABILITY
The ability to apply common sense and sound reasoning to a variety of situations.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Work is conducted throughout the facility in environments where noise levels can range from quiet to loud, depending on business activity.
