As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for the daily preparation and cooking of food items in the pantry, fry, and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen. This role involves food preparation, final plate presentation, plating, and garnishing. You will report to the Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.

Description

You will set up your food station according to Caffè guidelines and prepare all food items as directed, maintaining sanitation and efficiency. Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards. Restock items as needed, keep your workstation clean and organized, and assist with kitchen sanitation and organization. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and stay informed of health and safety regulations. Under supervision, execute daily tasks, including opening/closing duties, and adapt to various kitchen responsibilities as directed by Lead Cooks and Kitchen Managers. Demonstrate knowledge of cooking techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1.5+ years of corporate kitchen line cook experience
  • Ability to work with cold, heat, and water exposure
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes before start date
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Proficiency in English communication
  • 1-4 years of customer service or high-volume food service experience, preferably in corporate or large-scale settings
  • Basic cooking skills, knife handling, and understanding of cooking methods

Pay & Benefits

Base pay ranges from $27.75 to $36.35/hr, starting at $27.75, depending on skills and experience. Employees may participate in stock programs, receive comprehensive health benefits, retirement plans, discounts, educational reimbursements, and potential bonuses. Learn more about Apple Benefits.
