Job summary

This role supports the cafeteria operations while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

The position requires standing for extended periods, following established menus, operating kitchen equipment, and collaborating with team members to maintain a clean dining

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying supplies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items according to established menus and portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, serving areas, and dining space.
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
