Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve USDA-reimbursable meals and à la carte items.
• Assist in cooking, baking, and assembling food such as sandwiches, salads, and entrees.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (e.g., slicers, mixers, ovens).
• Perform cashiering duties: receive payments, make change, and track meal counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, serving lines, and dining spaces.
• Follow food safety protocols and personal hygiene standards.
• Store and handle food items properly, including leftovers and inventory.
• Collaborate with cafeteria staff and support student assistants when assigned.
• Comply with local, state, and federal nutrition regulations.
