Job summary

VVS Canteen at Tyson Vernon plant is seeking a motivated Food Service Manager to oversee cafeteria operations. You will manage 8-10 employees daily, hire, train, discipline, and schedule staff while ensuring quality and service standards.

Responsibilities include following weekly menus, enforcing food safety protocols, managing ordering and inventory, and handling related tasks to support smooth cafeteria service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Institutional Food Service Management or Restaurant Management.
• Excellent work history with work related references.
• Must be able to lift 25-35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds on occasion.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• Follow weekly menus and recipes to be served to our customers.
• Follow all Food Safety Protocol.
• Complete operation functions such as ordering, inventory management, and scheduling.
• Compete any other tasks related to the overall operation of a commercial kitchen facility.
