Job summary

Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) is seeking an Hourly Cafeteria Worker (Substitute) to join the Food and Nutrition Office. Positions may be available throughout the year, with part-time shifts from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM and up to 3.75 hours daily.

Duties include cashiering, serving meals, dining room cleaning, dish machine work, receiving and storing products, and other related tasks. Training is provided; eligibility to advance to permanent part-time positions at $17.06/hour.

Qualifications

• Duties include cashiering, serving meals, dining room cleaning, dish machine work and other related tasks.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds and meet health department hygiene standards.
• Shift is part-time, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM, up to 3.75 hours per day.
