Job summary

TIGARD-TUALATIN SD 23J seeks an Instructional Assistant 1 to support cafeteria and recess supervision at Deer Creek Elementary School in King City, Oregon. This is a part-time position (2.25 hours daily, 10:40am-12:55pm) with a temporary 9-month assignment.

Starting date is as soon as possible after hire. Responsibilities include assisting licensed teachers and staff, supervising students, and performing related tasks such as lunch counts and basic classroom support.

Qualifications

• Assist licensed teachers and support staff in classrooms and supervision.
• Capable of following policies and procedures with basic training on the job.
• Ability to supervise students in various settings (lunchroom, playground, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine classroom activities and supervision.
• Supervise students during cafeteria and recess periods.
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment and follow school policies.
