Job summary

Oasis Cafeteria at Sierra Lodgings Inc. in Orlando is seeking a Cafeteria Supervisor to oversee daily operations, uphold high quality standards, and ensure associate satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have cafeteria or F&B experience, outstanding customer service, and solid knowledge of sanitation, safety procedures, and proper food handling. Flexibility to work holidays and weekends and the ability to train and coach team members are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafeteria or food and beverage required.
• Food handling certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment.
• Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of Oasis Cafeteria and ensure quality standards.
• Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating associates.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other associates.
• Set up, maintain and break down salad bar and hot food line.
• Maintain refrigerator in clean, organized manner, with all food items labeled and dated.
• Supervise the upkeep of the cafeteria including tables, chairs, serving utensils and service line, before and after cafeteria hours.
• Ensure hot and cold food items are kept in compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
• Disposal of waste per hotel standards and recycling guidelines.
• Clean, sanitize and close workstations.
