The position requires a high school diploma or GED, background check clearance, and at least six months of quantity food preparation experience. May include cashier duties and inventory tasks, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Background check clearance required.
• TB test negative on tuberculin skin test.
• Minimum 6 months of quantity food preparation or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for student and staff meals according to menu and recipes.
• Read and follow work schedules, assemble ingredients and utensils, cook, serve, and clean up.
• Monitor cooking times/temperatures for safety and sanitation.
• Set up serving lines and maintain cleanliness of serving area.
• Stock supplies and monitor inventory; rotate food products as scheduled.
• May serve as cashier using a point-of-sale terminal.
• Adhere to school, district, and health department policies and procedures.
• Keep accurate work records and enter data as needed.
• Attend trainings and meetings to maintain knowledge and skills.
