Responsibilities

• Oversee the food service program in one or more schools
• Supervise cafeteria staff and operations
• Order food and supplies, manage inventories and records
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards
• Prepare and monitor payroll and attendance records
• Prepare time sheets and daily employee attendance
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Foster effective communication with staff, parents, and central office
• Manage purchasing, storage, and inventory of food and supplies
• Provide nutrition education and public relations support to the school community
