Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in commercial kitchen or food service is preferred.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and supplies for breakfast and lunch services.
• Assist with cooking menu items and monitor temperatures.
• Set up cafeterias and serving lines; break down lines after meals.
• Assist with inventory, deliveries, and storing leftovers.
• Assist with cash handling and deposits at registers.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of dining and kitchen areas.
• Support part-time cafeteria workers and help with planning menus.
