Millbury Public Schools is seeking a part-time Cafeteria General Worker for Elmwood Street School in Millbury, MA. The role runs 3 hours daily, Monday through Friday, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, during the school year.

Cafeteria General Worker - Elmwood Street School

VACANCY NOTICE: August 13, 2026 CLOSING DATE: Until Filled

General Duties

• Work with the Cook Manager to carry out any necessary food preparation responsibilities for the school lunch program if needed.
• To serve food to students and staff, as instructed and per school nutrition requirements.
• Assist in daily cleaning of all kitchen areas, equipment, tables and dishes.
• To follow all sanitation and safety procedures.
• Perform Cashiering duties as needed.
• To perform other cafeteria duties as determined by the Cafeteria Manager, Food Service Director or School Administration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Food Service experience preferred
• Perform a variety of tasks and assignments in a timely manner
• Ability to lift over thirty (30) pounds.
