Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking cafeteria staff to support food service operations, including cleaning dishes and assisting with kitchen tasks in the cafeteria for Church employees and temple patrons.

Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing, operating dishwashers, and assisting with routine tasks with attention to hygiene and safety. Experience in a kitchen environment is helpful, and physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must understand and follow directions in English.
• Able to lift/move up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to obtain a food handler's permit.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, cookware, or other kitchen supplies.
• Operates dishwasher or hand washes to clean dishes, silverware, glassware, and pots and pans.
• May organize and distribute cleaned and dried items.
• May clean other areas in the cafeteria.
• May be assigned to another routine task.
• Disposes of trash, including cooked or raw food items.
