Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in food preparation or a similar role.
• Food Handler’s certification required.
• Arizona Health Department sanitation knowledge or ServeSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food according to established recipes, production sheets, and portion guidelines.
• Maintains proper food temperatures and safe handling practices.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of cooking equipment and work areas.
• Assists with serving meals on the tray line and ensures correct portions.
• Supports with cleaning and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Recommends adjustments to recipes or procedures to improve efficiency.
