Hyatt Tempe Mission Palms Hotel in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Intermediate Cook/Cafeteria Attendant to support a multi-item hot and cold lunch menu created by our Executive Chef. The role calls for prior kitchen experience and offers growth opportunities within the hotel’s culinary team.

The position requires setting up/clearing the dining room, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with display. Shifts are 6:30 am–2:30 pm; weekends/holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience required; intermediate level.
• Experience cooking for a lunch service in a restaurant, banquet or catering preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry items as needed, including up and down stairs.
• Shift times are 6:30 am to 2:30 pm; weekends/holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a multi-item hot and cold lunch menu.
• Set up and clear dining room daily; dining room is up a flight of stairs.
• Keep dining area clean, wipe tables/counters and replenish supplies.
• Assist Executive Chef with display and post-lunch breakdown.
