Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Tempe Mission Palms Hotel is seeking an Intermediate Cook/Cafeteria Attendant to prepare and display a multi-item lunch menu created by the Executive Chef for the employee dining room. You will handle cooking, prep, and service, keep the dining area clean, and assist with post-lunch breakdown.

Prior kitchen experience is required; ability to carry items up stairs is essential. Shifts are 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, full-time, with opportunities to grow into other culinary

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant kitchen, banquet or catering preferred.
• Must be able to carry items up stairs.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 75 lbs and perform bending/squatting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a multi-item hot and cold lunch menu.
• Set up and clear dining room daily; dining room is up a flight of stairs.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and refill paper towel dispenser.
• Ensure coffee and soda station is stocked at all times.
• Opportunity to grow into other culinary positions throughout the hotel.
