Job summary

Taher, Inc. is hiring a Cashier to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a food service setting. You will handle the point of sale, assist with light food prep, stocking, and cleaning while creating meaningful interactions with customers.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to do simple arithmetic to count money and make change.
• Understanding of basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with eye contact and a smile.
• Maintain the point of sale, entering items accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in meal preparation including salads and sandwiches; prep and cleaning.
• Stock and prepare condiments and utensils.
• Contribute to a positive work environment; follow safety guidelines.
