Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a friendly cafeteria cashier in Beverly to support daily food service operations. You will prepare coffee, ring up orders, handle cash and cards, and maintain a clean, stocked workstation while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires the ability to stand all day, lift up to 50 pounds, and comply with the flu vaccination policy. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $22.88 per hour, based on shift and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in frontline customer service is required.
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Physical ability to stand most of the day and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee and set up food to sell.
• Ring up orders and handle cash/credit transactions; count drawer at shift start/end.
• May open or close cafeteria; complete setup or cleanup checklists.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a busy environment.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and assist with stocking and rotation of products.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and stand for long periods.
